Zurich, the city of short distances. Particularly welcome after a long journey

The trip from the airport to the Sheraton Neues Schloss Hotel Zurich is uncomplicated thanks to its proximity to the motorway and main train station. The hotel is situated in the financial and business district, close to Lake Zurich. The hotel is also in the immediate vicinity of the popular Bahnhofstrasse shopping district with its exclusive boutiques and many lovely shops. Arriving by car

From the east:

• Take the A1 motorway until it ends
• Then take the Milchbuck Tunnel
• Take a right at the next set of traffic lights, and follow signs to Zentrum (centre) and Limmatquai until Bellevueplatz
• At Bellevueplatz, turn right towards Chur
• Cross the bridge along the lake
• Turn right as soon as you pass the Kongresshaus

From the west:

• Take the A1 motorway until it ends
• Follow signs to Chur
• Drive through the city
• Turn left towards the lake
• After the tunnel, take the next right turn (Enge exit)
• At the traffic lights, turn left towards the Stadtzentrum (city centre)
• Follow signs to Neues Schloss

From the south:

• Take the A1 motorway until it ends in Zurich
• Turn right towards the lake
• Turn right again, and drive straight on until you reach the tunnel (Enge exit)
• At the traffic lights, turn left towards the Stadtzentrum (city centre)
• Follow signs to Neues Schloss

From the north:

• Follow signs to "Zürich City" and then to "See" (lake), and drive along the Limmat
• Turn to cross the bridge onto Bellevue, and continue along this road for 500 m
• Turn right, and drive 100 m further to reach the hotel

Arriving by train

Travel to Zurich Main Station, and then take tram number 6, 7 or 13 to the Stockerstrasse stop, which is only a few metres from the hotel.
